Two Limited-Term, Assistant Professor Positions, Criminology

The Department of Criminology at Saint Mary’s University invites applications for two eight month contractually limited term appointments at the rank of Assistant Professor to commence September 1, 2021.
We are seeking criminologists with a demonstrated capacity to teach courses in areas related to Victims and Criminal Justice, Prisons and Punishment, Gender-Based Violence, Canadian Criminal Justice System, or Critical Criminology. The successful candidate will be required to teach in at least two of these areas.
The successful candidate must hold a PhD (or be ABD and close to the completion of a PhD) in Criminology or a related discipline. Candidates must provide evidence of a strong research record and show promise of a high standard of teaching. The deadline for applications is April 14, 2021.
