Division of Engineering - 8-month Limited-Term - Mechanical

Saint Mary's University

The Division of Engineering at Saint Mary’s University invites applications for one eight-month sessional position to begin September 1, 2021.

The Division is particularly looking for candidates with a PhD, or MSc in Engineering or related field and a demonstrated record of effectiveness in university teaching who will support course offerings in the Division’s two-year Diploma in Engineering (equivalent to the first two years of a four-year Engineering Degree). The successful candidate should be prepared to teach at least two of:

• EGNE 2301 - Dynamics
• EGNE 2303 - Thermodynamics
• EGNE 2306 - Fluid Dynamics and
• EGNE 1203 - Engineering Mechanics I: Statics

All courses are at the first and second year level. Applicants should be prepared to teach sections both in person and online (remote).
