Academic Position in Medical Education

The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine in the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services (http://www.albertahealthservices.ca) invites applications for a Contingent term position in medical education at the Associate Professor level.
Qualifications required include a MD, certification in Anesthesiology, eligibility for regular licensure in the Province of Alberta. A Master’s degree in Medical Education is preferred. The successful candidate will be involved in medical education leadership and would participate in teaching at the University of Calgary in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate clinical and academic programs.
Applicants must present evidence of success as a medical educator, as demonstrated through evidence of leadership experience in all areas of Medical Education. Evidence of successful teaching is required. Evidence of collaborations with other researchers and academic engagement in professional and other communities will be assessed.
