The School of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at the level of Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor. This is a five-year term appointment with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate must demonstrate an interest and aptitude for clinical and didactic teaching in oral maxillofacial surgery at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as the development of an active clinical research program.

Candidates will have graduated from an accredited DDS/DMD or equivalent program as well as an accredited postgraduate or graduate program in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and be eligible for licensure by the Alberta Dental Association and College (ADA+C). Completion of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) Fellowship examination in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery is preferred. Hiring preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellent teaching skills in the area of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.

Academic rank and salary will be based on the incumbent’s qualifications, experience and achievements, and in accordance with the Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) Agreement. This position has a term length of five years and offers a comprehensive benefits package found at:
