The Ingram School of Nursing of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the field of aging/gerontology. Examples of areas of specialization may include but are not limited to: healthy aging, chronic illness management, mental health and aging, and elder care. The successful candidate will be joining the School at a stimulating time of growth and new energy with a recent expansion in education and research-focused faculty, major curricular revisions, and a new physical space featuring state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities. Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program and to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching for our diverse student body. They will also be expected to contribute to service activities within the School, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the University, or the wider community.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Candidates will have been educated as nurses or have a research focus relevant to nursing, have a doctorate in a health-related discipline and a track record of peer-reviewed publications;
• Post-doctoral training will be an asset, as will success in receiving external funding
• Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to and in accordance with circumstances, a track record in equity, diversity, and inclusiveness (EDI) in such contexts;
• Candidates should be fluent in English; fluency in French would be an asset.
