The School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP) at UBC, invites applications for a SSHRC Canada Research Chair (CRC Tier 2) in Planning. The successful candidate will be eligible to hold a full-time, tenure stream appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. The CRC Program supports outstanding researchers in areas that will further UBC's strategic research plan. The profile and proposed research program of candidates must meet the CRC program criteria and demonstrate an excellent fit with UBC's strategic goals. We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests complement or deepen our School’s strengths, but most importantly we are keen to appoint individuals who are committed to undertaking research that seeks to make an impact on the well-being of communities and the natural environment and new fields of expertise for the School and/or emerging areas of scholarship.
