Assistant Professor/Tenure Track, Full-Time, Cell Biology

The Department of Biology is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in cell biology at the Assistant Professor level commencing 1 July 2019. This position is designated for a woman in keeping with the University's commitment to the advancement of women.
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in an appropriate life science and relevant post-doctoral experience. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience at the university level and research interests in molecular cell biology within an animal system.
Workload for the position includes research, teaching, and collegial service. The successful candidate will be expected to initiate and maintain an independently funded research program. Teaching responsibilities will include cell and molecular biology and at least some of introductory biology, genetics, animal (including human) anatomy, physiology, and diversity.
