Located in culturally enriched, downtown Edmonton, Alberta, our comprehensive undergraduate university provides a transformative education to 19,000 full- and part-time students enrolled in more than 65 programs. Two years ago, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications (FFAC) moved to the new, world-class, $200-million Allard Hall, as part of MacEwan University’s main campus in downtown Edmonton. The program recently opened a state-of-the-art TV production studio, including two newsrooms designed for use by Communication faculty and students, in addition to modern classrooms, study rooms, labs and other learning spaces available for students in the program.

In addition to substantial professional experience, teaching experience in a post-secondary environment and strong interpersonal and communication skills, the successful candidate will have a commitment to teaching innovation and to providing some leadership in helping to grow the program.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a teaching dossier (including recent teaching evaluations), a statement of research interests and a sample of scholarly work, along with the names and contact information of three referees.
