Assistant Professor, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources, Haskayne School of Business

University of Calgary

Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources (OBHR) in the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointment start date is July 1, 2018 or on a mutually agreeable date.

Candidates must have completed or have nearly completed a Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management or a closely-related field. The position requires a strong research orientation (e.g., ability to publish in high-quality outlets) and the ability to teach courses in the domain of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Duties include research, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and professional service for the School, the University, and the community. Salary is competitive and will depend on qualifications, experience, as well as research and teaching record.

Faculty in the OBHR area at the Haskayne School of Business are enthusiastically engaged in a range of research topics, including worker well-being, diversity, workplace harassment and bullying, workplace safety, motivation, decision-making, social responsibility, leadership, and strategic HR.
