Brandon University’s School of Music invites applications for a one-year term position in saxophone and jazz studies at the rank of assistant professor or lecturer depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities will include teaching studio lessons and directing small ensembles. Other responsibilities may include delivering undergraduate/graduate courses in jazz pedagogy, aural skills, big band, jazz history and topics relevant to the successful candidate's interests and expertise.
Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Music is required. A doctorate (or comparable professional experience) is preferred.
Rank and Salary: commensurate with qualifications and experience
