The Department of Economics at the University of Victoria invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions commencing 1 July 2022.
For the first position, applicants must have a primary field of study in Econometrics with a strong applied research agenda.
For the second position, the Department is seeking to hire a researcher in Environmental/Climate/Resource Economics or in International Economics. Exceptional candidates in other fields may be considered only if a suitable candidate is not found in the areas mentioned above.
All applicants should have a completed PhD (or be close to completion) and must describe in their application how their research will complement or add existing research capacity in the Department (see https://www.uvic.ca/socialsciences/economics/index.php).
