Knowledge of randomized controlled trials and the coordination of multicenter studies are essential to this position. Expertise in areas such as complex study designs, clustered or multilevel data, handling of missing data and experience in cardiovascular disease, regulatory needs and global health research would be assets.

As a faculty member in HEI, the successful applicant will teach and supervise students in the Health Research Methodology Graduate Program, Master of Public Health Program, Public Health and Preventive Medicine Residency Program, Bachelor of Health Sciences Undergraduate Program and/or other educational programs at McMaster.

The successful candidate will engage in independent research and will be a close collaborator with Professor Shrikant Bangdiwala, Director of Statistics at PHRI. The successful candidate will be an academic leader in the Department of HEI at McMaster University, through the provision of scientific guidance to statisticians and clinical investigators on the methodological statistical developments emanating from the various research programs at PHRI.
