Faculty Lecturer Position in Applied Computing and Data Processing

The Department of Bioresource Engineering invites applications for a Faculty Lecturer position in Applied Computing and Data Processing focusing on teaching mathematics and computer science courses to undergraduate and graduate students in the B.Eng. Bioresource Engineering major and the B.Sc. Agricultural and Environmental Sciences major (computing for engineers, statistical methods, bioinformatics for genomics, geomatics). In addition design new courses on introduction to computing and data analytical tools, maintain databases, conduct a series of workshops for students engaged in data-rich research.
This is a full-time, non-tenure track, teaching position. The candidate is expected to have a Ph.D., expertise in computer programming, mathematics and interest/experience in agricultural and/or environmental sciences. Eligibility for P.Eng. registration in Canada is an asset, as well as the ability to interact in French.
