Assistant Professor (Tenure Track), Finance

University of New Brunswick Saint John

The Faculty of Business, University of New Brunswick Saint John invites applications for a tenure track position in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective on July 1, 2022 or a mutually acceptable date thereafter. This position is subject to budgetary approval.


The minimum qualification for consideration is a PhD in finance, preferably awarded within the past three years. Candidates with a PhD nearing completion will be considered for appointment as Lecturer. An interest in or activity related to financing of entrepreneurial pursuits would be considered an asset. The Faculty of Business has a reputation for cutting-edge academic innovation and boasts strong relationships with the business and professional communities. With almost 400 students in its undergraduate programs and 150 full- and part-time MBA students, we can offer diverse teaching and unique opportunities for research, community involvement and experiential engagement outside of the classroom. In fact, this position would be expected to commit and contribute to the faculty focus on experiential learning.
