McMaster University, Department of Anesthesia, in conjunction with Hamilton Health Sciences, invites applications for a full-time clinician educator with sub-specialty training in obstetrical anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and/or chronic pain management. This is a full-time academic clinical faculty position for a period of three years (renewable). Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

The Department of Anesthesia at McMaster University aligns with world class pain researchers, as well as specialized chronic pain management services. Affiliated hospitals of Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Josephs’s Healthcare Hamilton, offer a wide range of clinical services, while also managing robust clinical research.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated clinical research experience, sub-specialty certification and/or training in OB Anesthesia, Point of Care Ultrasound (PoCUS), and/or Regional Anesthesia as well as experience working in an academic health sciences centre focused on training our medical students and residents, and supporting the training of clinical fellows.
