About the Position
The Goodman School of Business (GSB), Brock University invites applications for an Instructional Limited Term Appointment as an Assistant Professor – Ethics, effective September 1, 2021, for a one-year term. The position consists of teaching 8 half credit courses or equivalent per academic year. The successful applicant will teach predominantly Ethics courses with consideration for other courses depending on prior teaching experience. For the fall session, there may be a combination of in person and online teaching.
The GSB seeks applicants with a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly research and/or teaching with demonstrated evidence of successful research, teaching, and/or professional experience. This role requires completion or ABD of a PhD in Business or the equivalent with a specialization in a field related to Business Ethics such as ethical decision making and conduct in organization, CSR, Ethical Leadership, Sustainability, or Governance will be considered.
About the Department of Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship and Ethics (OBHREE)
The Department of OBHREE has 18 full-time faculty members and is one of four departments in the Goodman School of Business, which has approximately 100 full-time members. We offer graduate and undergraduate programs, both research and professionally oriented including: Master of Science in Administrative Studies, Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with an optional Human Resources Management stream at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Recent publications by OBHREE members have appeared or are forthcoming in such leading journals as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Career Development International, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Relations, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Education, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Service Management, Leadership Quarterly, and Personnel Psychology.

The Goodman School of Business, named for respected business leader Ned Goodman, is AACSB accredited and offers graduate and undergraduate programs in business and accounting, with over 3,500 students enrolled.
