The Department of Applied Computer Science at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for a continuing appointment at the rank of Instructor. Candidates must have at least a Master's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching and have experience in teaching large classes at the undergraduate level. Candidates are expected to have a good background in applied computing, business information systems, business process modeling, and business systems analysis and design. The successful candidate will be required to teach courses at the first-year level primarily to business students and at the second-year level to students in the Information Systems stream of Applied Computer Science. The candidate will share in the administrative responsibilities of the department.
The selection committee will begin reviewing applications on April 15, 2019 and will continue until the position is filled; full consideration is assured for applications received by April 12, 2019. Subject to budgetary approval, this position will be effective from July 1, 2019. Salary levels will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
