Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Finance
The Rowe School of Business (RSB) invites applications for a probationary tenure-track or tenure-track appointment in Finance at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant or Associate Professor (dependent upon qualifications and experience), commencing Fall 2022 (negotiable). Applicants must have a PhD (or ABD near completion) in Finance or a related field. Evidence of strong research performance / potential and teaching effectiveness appropriate to the rank are required. Candidates must be able to meet the School’s accrediting body’s (AACSB) academic qualification requirements.
The successful applicant will be expected to engage in leading-edge research, to teach courses in Finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels, to supervise graduate thesis students, and to contribute to the academic life of the university through committee service and other activities. Candidates from all areas of finance are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated record / strong potential for high-quality research leading to top tier publications and obtaining external research funding. A professional finance designation in good standing would be considered an asset but is not required.
