About the Position
The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences and Department of Nursing at Brock University are pleased to invite PhD prepared nurses, to submit an application for a full-time, probationary tenure-track or tenured position at the rank of Assistant, Associate Professor or Professor in Nursing, effective April 1, or July 1, 2022.
The successful applicant for this position will support teaching needs in the undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful applicant will have completed a PhD program in Nursing, show a strong commitment to Primary Health Care, equity, diversity, and inclusion, have a proven track record of excellence in teaching, course development and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and a relevant clinical background.
Applicants must have evidence of a well-developed and established program of research, competitive grant funding, a strong peer-reviewed publication track record and history with graduate supervision. The applicant will possess excellent communication skills, leadership, and the ability to establish collegial relationships and evidence of relevant clinical experiences. Applicants must be Registered Nurses, holding a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing, or evidence of eligibility to obtain prior to the date of hire.
