The successful candidate must demonstrate an international reputation in the field of applied methods and statistics with clear application to management research in the behavioral sciences (e.g., consumer behavior, organizational behavior, human resources, behavioral accounting, entrepreneurship).
Candidates must have:
A doctorate with a focus on applied methods/statistics in management or psychology;
At least 15 years of academic experience including both teaching and research;
An exceptional record of research in methods/statistics;
Experience with PhD student supervision and training;
Recognized impact as evidenced by high quality research output and citations;
Extensive experience running statistical workshops for faculty and graduate students;
Demonstrated experience providing academic service.
The successful candidate will help to build on Haskayne’s already strong research culture by enhancing the statistical capacity of the Haskayne School in behavioral disciplines. Specifically, the candidate will offer mentorship to interested faculty and graduate students, and will deliver internal workshops to build statistical knowledge within the school and university. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate level courses in advanced statistics and methods. The successful candidate will also be expected to publish research in high-quality outlets in such fields as behavioral statistics, quantitative psychology, organizational behavior, marketing, and applied psychology. The candidate should also have the ability to span cross-disciplinary boundaries within and outside Haskayne. The candidate will offer statistics workshops both internally (at the Haskayne School and the University of Calgary) and externally to national and international audiences.
