Position Description

The Department of Kinesiology at McMaster is seeking candidates to fill a teaching -track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Physiology of Physical Activity and Human Health. The preferred start date for the appointment is July 1, 2023.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Kinesiology or a related discipline and a record of teaching excellence and pedagogical innovation in the field of Physiology of Physical Activity and Human Health including the use of: EDI-informed pedagogy, experiential learning, community engagement, science communication, and knowledge translation. A history of scholarly excellence is essential. Strong communication skills and demonstrated commitment to working effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures are desirable.

The candidate must be strongly committed to excellence in teaching and mentorship at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
