Position

The Faculty of Health Sciences has an opening for 3 probationary (tenure-track) positions in Nursing at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. The Faculty has a dynamic and collaborative teaching and research culture. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in research and the ability to teach in our undergraduate and graduate programs. The position will commence on July 1, 2021.

Qualifications

If you possess a PhD in Nursing or a related discipline, or a PhD near completion, and at least one degree in Nursing, your application is of considerable interest to us. You should have expertise in nursing practice, research and teaching and be prepared to engage in curriculum development and develop a program of research. Candidates must be eligible for registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta; university teaching experiences is preferred.

Academic Setting

The CASN-accredited four-year BN and 23-month BN After-Degree programs are offered in collaboration with Lethbridge College within the Nursing Education in Southwestern Alberta (NESA) Programs. Students practice in rural and urban settings including institutional and community locations. Remuneration

You will receive an excellent salary commensurate with your experience, as well as a benefit package, and relocation assistance. Your research will be facilitated by a start-up research allowance.
