Location: This position is in-person and is located in Edmonton, Alberta at the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy and Kaye Edmonton Clinic.

Position

The School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, tenure- track or tenured faculty position in the Discipline of Prosthodontics. The position has an anticipated start date of September 1, 2022. There is an expectation for clinical and didactic teaching in Prosthodontics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applicants will have graduated from an accredited DDS/DMD or equivalent program and have relevant postgraduate and clinical qualifications in the specialty of prosthodontics. Applicants must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the Province of Alberta in the specialty of prosthodontics. Time may be allocated to private practice (if applicable).

The ideal candidate will have:

• successfully completed the National Dental Specialty Examination (NDSE). Completion of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) Fellowship examination (in Prosthodontics) is desirable
• demonstrated the impact of their research and provided evidence of established and respected research and teaching skills
• demonstrated a record of service at the departmental, institutional, national and/or international levels.

Academic rank and salary will be based on the incumbent’s qualifications, experience, and achievements and in accordance with the Faculty Agreement.

The position is located on an Alberta Health Services (AHS) site, compliance with AHS Workplace Health & Safety policies are in effect.
