Term Instructor, Kinesiology and Physical Education

University of Lethbridge

The Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Lethbridge invites applications for a 9-month term position at the level of Instructor II. The appointment will commence August 01, 2020, subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Kinesiology or related field and possess experience teaching at the post-secondary level. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses/labs primarily in the areas of Wellness and Physical Activity, and Physical Literacy. The Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, offers a B.A. or B.Sc. in Kinesiology and an M.A. or M.Sc. The Department and University are student-focused, comprehensive (research intensive, with undergraduate and graduate student programming), and grounded in liberal education.

Located in Southern Alberta, not far from the Rocky Mountains, the city of Lethbridge enjoys a sunny, dry climate that is surprisingly mild, has excellent cultural and recreational amenities, and offers attractive economic conditions.
