Faculty of Business at UPEI welcomes applications for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position in the Faculty of Business with a focus on tourism management beginning January 1, 2023, subject to final budgetary approval. Link to full ad: https://www.upei.ca/hr/competition/30a22
The preferred candidate for this appointment will hold a PhD, or be close to completion, in tourism management or a related field. A record of excellence in teaching and research appropriate to career stage, or a demonstration of clear promise is required. The successful candidate will be expected to balance service contributions with teaching and scholarly productivity. The successful candidate will be expected to grow the Faculty’s tourism management specialization and to engage with the local tourism sector, along with UPEI’s Island Studies, Climate Change, and Environmental Studies programs. Preference may be given to candidates with both strong academic qualifications and professional experience in an applied setting.
Start Date: January 1, 2023 (negotiable)
