About the Department of Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and Ethics (OBHREE)
The Department of OBHREE has 15 full-time faculty members and is one of four departments in the Goodman School of Business, which has approximately 100 full-time members. We offer graduate and undergraduate programs, both research and professionally oriented including:

Master of Science in Administrative Studies, Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with an optional Human Resources Management stream at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Recent publications by OBHREE members have appeared or are forthcoming in such leading journals as Academy of Management Journal, Career Development International, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Human Relations, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Education, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Service Management, Leadership Quarterly, and Personnel Psychology.

About the Goodman School of Business
The Goodman School of Business, named for respected business leader Ned Goodman, is AACSB accredited and offers graduate and undergraduate programs in business and accounting, with over 3,500 students enrolled. Goodman is a collaborative environment and home to many celebrated faculty members who are both innovative researchers and exemplary teachers, two of whom were recently identified among four Canadian researchers in business and management education within the 99 most productive worldwide. In addition, three faculty
members were recognized among the 100,000 most-cited authors (1996-2007) in the world.

About the Positions
The Department of Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and Ethics (OBHREE) is hiring for two positions, one research stream and one teaching stream:

1) HRM Research Stream, Assistant or Associate Professor, beginning July 1, 2024

The Goodman School of Business at Brock University seeks applicants with a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly research and teaching in the field of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management. The position entails developing and sustaining high-quality teaching and learning environments for students and conducting rigorous academic research with relevance to a managerial and practitioner audience. It is expected that applicants have potential to publish in top-tier organizational behaviour, human resources management, and related business journals. A doctoral degree in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Management, or a closely related field is required (completed or near completion). Applicants must have demonstrated potential for conducting high quality research and demonstrate the potential for effective teaching.

Familiarity with advances in artificial intelligence and data analytics would be an asset for the Research Stream position. The Research Stream has a teaching load of 4 courses over the course of the year.

2) HRM Teaching Stream, Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2024

The Goodman School of Business at Brock University seeks applicants with a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly research and teaching in the field of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management. The position entails developing and sustaining high-quality teaching and learning environments for students and conducting rigorous academic research with relevance to a managerial and practitioner audience. It is expected that applicants have potential to publish in top-tier organizational behaviour, human resources management, and related business journals. A doctoral degree in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Management, or a closely related field is required (completed or near completion). Applicants must have demonstrated potential for conducting high caliber research and have a minimum of one year sustained high-quality teaching experience.

Previous experience teaching EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion), Health and Safety, Labour Law and Compensation would be an asset for the Teaching Stream position. The Teaching Stream has a teaching load of 6 courses over the course of the year.
