The Department of Community Health Sciences, in the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, invites applications for two tenure-track appointments at the Assistant Professor (Teaching) level. These roles allocate 75% time for teaching with the remaining 25% allocated to research and service activities within the University.

Both roles will join the dynamic team that has been successfully launching and growing the Masters of Precision Health program. Across four specializations, this unique program strengthens students’ knowledge and skills in Precision Health and supports role integration in areas such as advanced clinical skills, data science, entrepreneurship, organizational leadership, research, education, professional development, and consultation to impact patient, provider, and health system outcomes.

Qualifications include a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant field such as education, medical education, nursing, business or management. Applicants must show evidence of successful teaching, curriculum design and educational leadership. Expertise and experience in designing experiential learning opportunities is an asset. Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of established academic engagement in professional and other communities.
