Lecturer or Assistant Professor, Accounting - School of Business

Acadia University

Position #30127 - The F.C. Manning School of Business invites applications for a 9.5 month contractually-limited- term position with a start date of August 1st, 2024.

Candidates will have a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and a graduate degree in business (MBA or equivalent, may be in progress). Relevant industry experience will be considered an asset. Evidence and commitment to excel in both teaching and service is essential, including the potential to contribute to curriculum development and pedagogical innovation in areas such as experiential and technology enhanced learning. Commensurate with their interests and experience, the successful candidate will also fulfill service roles that contribute positively to the School, Acadia University as a whole, and outside professional communities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching five sections (five courses) in the Accounting area. In consultation with the successful applicant, the teaching responsibilities will be confirmed based on the program needs of the School, and applicant’s interests and prior teaching experience.
