POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Marketing and Behavioural Science Division
The UBC Sauder School of Business Marketing and Behavioural Science (MBS) Division, at the Vancouver Point Grey campus, welcomes applications for a Part-time Instructor to teach courses on marketing topics, such as customer analytics, market research, and data-driven marketing, with an anticipated start date of September 2025. The expected salary range for the position is $3,000 to $4,000 per credit.

The Marketing and Behavioural Science Division at UBC Sauder School of Business is a recognized leader in Canada in the discipline of marketing. We are a dynamic group of scholars and business professionals with expertise in a variety of fields including marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, and quantitative marketing.
Desired Qualifications:
• A Masters or Ph.D. level degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Relevant industry experiences in product marketing, market research and data driven marketing
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching as evidenced by strong teaching evaluations or other documentation.
• Proven ability to instruct in face-to-face classroom and online teaching environments.
• Demonstrated ability to use learning management systems, classroom technology and innovative pedagogical approaches to create engaging learning experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other instructors and staff.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities will be the delivery of undergraduate (13-week) or graduate-level (5-week) courses for business school students. Other responsibilities and expectations include: Liaising with the Undergraduate team or graduate school to prepare syllabus and materials, participation in faculty and undergraduate/graduate program preparatory and review meetings, course coordination and innovation, and holding office hours and related activities. We also expect the candidate to engage in professional development.
