The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary is seeking qualified candidates to fill a 3-year Limited Term Instructor position in Business Technology Management (BTM), previously Management Information Systems (MIS).

We have a need for candidates with teaching capabilities in all areas of BTM/MIS, and specifically data analytics, artificial intelligence, and introductory undergraduate and MBA courses. The successful candidates are expected to teach 8 course sections per year in a 13 week term at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in BTM/MIS or a closely related field (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or statistics), Ph.D. completed by the end of 2020 are preferred. The anticipated starting date is July 1, 2020.

Teaching capabilities will be evidenced by recent prior experience teaching the subject matter, excellent quality of prior teaching as demonstrated by student teaching evaluations and student comments, and the ability to cover the breadth of courses required.
