Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance, University of Regina invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Creative Technologies commencing July 1, 2021. Join an interdisciplinary team working at the broad intersection of fine arts, media, computer science and engineering. The successful candidate is an exceptional artist-researcher able to build on the well-established research and creation strengths in the Faculty.
The successful candidate has a background in creative technologies practice and theory, a focus on one or more of these practice-based specializations: wearable technologies and maker culture, creative coding, design, VR/AR, gaming. Applicants have a doctorate in a related discipline, and/or a terminal degree in a fine arts discipline.
MAP seeks to attract candidates who identify with under-represented groups, and who are able to articulate a research program that aligns with our values, complements and builds upon the established socially-engaged practices for which MAP is known.
