The Department of Financial and Information Management in the Shannon School of Business at CBU invites applications for a tenure-track position
in Finance at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position will commence July 2021 or shortly thereafter.

The School is seeking candidates with demonstrated evidence of effective teaching and research in finance. Teaching courses will include core finance
courses and upper-level electives depending on qualifications and experience. Candidates should have a Doctorate degree in Finance, or currently
enrolled in such a program. An industry certification, such as the CFA, is an asset.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate potential and commitment with regard to teaching, research/creative/scholarly activities and service to Cape
Breton University, community and profession.
