Department of Music Research: Theory Area
The Department of Music Research invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Music Theory at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting August 1, 2022. Applications at the rank of Associate Professor may be considered for exceptional candidates.
We seek to appoint an individual with a national/international profile in music theory. We are open to all areas of research specialization, especially those that complement the interests of current faculty. The successful applicant will have superior musicianship skills and be comfortable teaching the full range of core undergraduate theory classes, as well as undergraduate and graduate offerings in the candidate’s own area(s) of specialization.
