The College of Pharmacy, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, Canada invites applications for two (2) tenure-track or tenured positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, in the area of Applied Therapeutics / Clinical Pharmacy. Positions are anticipated to start January 1, 2022 or at a time to be negotiated. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Applicants should possess a post-baccalaureate PharmD or clinically applied Ph.D., with post-doctoral training, fellowship training, or otherwise demonstrated research experience. A variety of therapeutic areas will be considered including general medicine, mental health, geriatrics, or pediatrics. Experience in clinical pharmacy practice is required. Ideally, the successful candidate would be expected to obtain practicing licensure in Manitoba. Exceptions to this may be considered. Teaching experience will be considered a strong asset, and the successful candidate will be expected to teach in undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a clinical pharmacy research program in their area of expertise and seek external funding. At the Associate Professor/Professor levels, the successful candidate will demonstrate a well-established clinical pharmacy research program with the ability to undertake research / scholarly activity in Manitoba.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide service to the College of Pharmacy and the University. Leadership opportunities may also be available at the senior rank.
The College of Pharmacy is located in a state-of-the-art 90,000 sq. feet Apotex Centre on the Bannatyne Campus at the University of Manitoba.
